If there is one thing that really completes a dish, it is pesto. Not only is it tasty and very easy to make, but you can also eat pesto with an infinite number of dishes. You can eat pesto with baguette, add it to stuffed mushrooms or peppers, combine it with Parma ham, potatoes and salad and of course pesto is also perfect with countless pastas and lasagna! You can also make the pesto even healthier by adding a tablespoon of Spirulina.
INGREDIENTS:
- 50 g basil leaves.
- 4 tablespoons roasted pine nuts.
- 2 – 4 cloves of garlic.
- small spoon of Spirulina.
- 120 ml (1/2 glass) extra virgin olive oil.
- 115 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
- 25 g fresh grated pecorino cheese (or matured sheep's milk cheese).
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add all ingredients in a bowl. Mash them until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Enjoy it in the recipes of your choice!
